1. Who we are
Reliable O&G Services LLC, doing business as Reliable Oilfield Services (“Reliable Oilfield Services,” “we,” “us”), is an oilfield service company headquartered in the Permian Basin, Texas. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information about our customers and their designated contacts when we deliver field services and when we communicate with them about those services.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Customer and contact information: company name, contact name, role or title, business email address, and business phone number — provided to us directly by our customers when they engage Reliable Oilfield Services or when we add them to our internal records as a service contact.
- Service records: work orders, job descriptions, site addresses, GPS coordinates of service locations, equipment details, parts used, labor hours, photos taken at the site as part of the work record, and digital signatures captured at job completion.
- Consent records: when a contact opts in to receive email or SMS service notifications, we record the date, time, and the Reliable Oilfield Services administrator who captured the consent.
- Communication content: the text of emails and text messages we send, and any replies we receive from contacts.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above only for these purposes:
- To deliver the field services our customers have engaged us to perform.
- To send transactional service notifications (dispatch alerts when a technician heads to a site, job-completion confirmations, and parts-pending updates with estimated return dates) by email or text message to contacts who have opted in.
- To invoice for the work performed and maintain accounting and tax records as required by law.
- To respond to questions, support requests, and emergency callouts.
- To improve our internal field-operations software and service quality.
4. What we do not do with information
We do not sell, rent, lease, share, or otherwise transfer any customer or contact information to third parties for their marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. Information collected for the SMS service-notification program in particular is never shared with third parties for any purpose other than delivering the messages themselves (see Section 6).
We do not use customer or contact information for behavioral advertising, retargeting, or audience-building of any kind.
5. Who we share information with
We share information only with the following categories of service providers, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform services on our behalf:
- Cloud infrastructure providers who host our field operations software and customer data (Supabase, Vercel).
- Email and SMS delivery providers who transmit service notifications on our behalf (Resend for email; Twilio for SMS). These providers are contractually prohibited from using contact information for any purpose other than delivering our messages.
- Accounting and tax service providers who handle our books and tax filings under confidentiality obligations.
- Government authorities, when required by law, court order, or valid legal process.
6. SMS notification program
Reliable Oilfield Services operates an SMS service-notification program (“Reliable Oilfield Services Job Updates”) for existing customers and their designated contacts. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent captured for this program are used solely to send transactional service notifications and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. Contacts opt in through a documented two-way conversation with a Reliable Oilfield Services administrator and may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Full program terms, message frequency, and rate disclosures are published at /sms-terms.
7. Data retention
We retain customer and contact information for as long as the customer relationship is active and for as long after as required by law (typically 7 years for accounting and tax records). SMS consent records and opt-out timestamps are retained indefinitely to demonstrate ongoing TCPA compliance. Contacts may request deletion of their personal information by contacting us at the address in Section 10; we will honor the request to the extent consistent with our legal obligations.
8. Security
We protect customer and contact information using industry-standard measures including encrypted-in-transit communications (HTTPS for all web traffic and API calls), row-level security on our database, authenticated access for administrative interfaces, and audit logging of sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever experience a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Children
Our services are provided exclusively to business customers in the oil and gas industry. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
